The Animal Liberation Front's protest against University of Oxford's new biomedical research lab is getting out of hand. There have been an arson attack, a death threat, and a declaration that students are not exempt from being targeted.

This is the face of post-modernist luddism. It's depressing to see what happens when even good ideas are taken too far. Reminds me of the Symbionese Liberation Army, which was also rooted in well-intentioned premises. Kudos to sqrrl101 for saying enough is enough - his pro-lab, anti-animal activist site, Pro-Test seems to be down now, but check it out when it's back up.
